Infamous Madonna Interview

Purely for pop culture value, I present the 90's version of the material girl. As you watch this, just keep thinking to yourself: Madonna does not to let her children watch American T.V. (she says it is too sexualized, go figure.)

Madonna: hypocritical or re-inventor?

This girl is crazy. She is really preoccupied with sex, and probably because she knew its what people wanted and thats what she was comfortable being. I do admire her abrasiveness, though, and her bravery to make an original performance. When Argentinians viewed this material 7 years later, she had to pull out a lot of stops to repair the emotional impact. Another excellent performance.

it's hard to choose which madonna decade i like the best. what would madonna's artist statement be? if she was invited to do a career spanning show at a gallery but she had to submit a one page artist statement, what would it say?

Hands down, Madonna's best moments were the Erotica years and the Ray of Light period. Her "Human Nature" video fucking rocks.
